Where We've Been

It seems like The Amy Rolle Website has been everywhere, doesn't it? Here's a general listing of what servers we've been on and when we came to/left them, based on the webmaster's memory... and the old updates page.

July 4, 1999
    - Website opens on Xoom.com - http://members.xoom.com/MegaBlue/AmyMiller/

January 24, 2000
    - A seemingly brilliant move on my part places the website on its own free webspace at 50megs.com - http://www4.50megs.com/amymiller/

sometime between January 2000 and August 2000
    - Xoom gets bought up by NBC Internet, and is later closed.

sometime between October-December 2000
    - 50megs.com moves their servers around and screws with the user addresses, and the address changes to - http://amymiller.www4.50megs.com

Summer 2001
    - Idle threats (?) from 50megs.com about reducing allotted webspace from 50mb to 11mb and deleting files that exceed that space limit make us consider moving, but upon seeing that nothing was affected, we remained at 50megs.com

February 2002
    - The webmaster decides to gut and revamp the entire website, with the intention of moving it to his paid-for webspace on LunarWolf.net.

March 12, 2002
    - The webmaster, on an impluse, springs for a domain name and matching paid-for webspace for the website through godaddy.com, and sets out to revamp the whole website, with the intention of reopening it on March 17.
